HI! THIS IS MY HOME ON THE INTERNET!

i like everything early 2000s, but especially the tech! i spend my time identifying ipods and cellphones in tv shows and movies because i'm a loser and will never get laid

my favorite movie is, well, one from the blade trilogy but maybe i'll pick the first one because of n'bushe wright, !!!she's beautiful!!!

i own multiple ipods and my phone is a 2007 nokia 2760, finding phones that old in working/decent condition and with a charger is hard but i hope to expand my collection in the future. off the top of my head, my phone wishlist goes like this:

    me
  1. Motorola ROKR EM28 (blue), i'm not a big fan of motorolas usually especially because the razr series is what first comes to mind (i find them ugly- gasp!) but oh my goodness. the soft edges. the seamless outside screen. the fact that each colorway has a subtly different shade of white framing it, but those bright red accents on the blue one specifically? to die for
  2. one of the samsung "pebble" flips. not naming specific models because samsung was pumping out a lot of these circa 2005 (hey, that's when i was born!) but you'll know them when you see them: very roundish, small footprint. gotta be colorful though, the first of these i saw was in a thrift store in orange! so cute, but unassuming! my heart breaks just thinking that i left it behind, what did i buy that day instead?
  3. the lg u8360 sitting in my "unused tech" drawer, along with my smartphone. this beauty, in gorgeous shiny green with blue accents, not only misses a charger (bought a universal one straight for the battery for this exact occasion!) but it also won't take any sim card that's not from 3, a defunct provider as far as the phone is concerned since they've merged and the new sims won't get recognized... seems like the owner didn't bother to sim unlock it while they still could before selling it off. well i was inexperienced and this stuff happens. but also i was torturing for months about not being able to use it. i'm keeping the picture of your cat you set as a lockscreen fuckface!!!

on the other hand, my ipod wishlist is comprised of:

  1. a light blue 3rd gen nano
  2. and a liliac 7th gen nano

here is also a demon whispering in my ear to buy a lime green 4th gen shuffle as if i don't already have 2. the demon is to be ignored until further notice

"wow! this looks terrible!"

i know, right? i've learned html for a couple of days in the past which is how i'm even able to put together anything at all, and that's about the extent of what i remember. so now what? you'll get to watch as this site looks LESS terrible day after day as i improve! (as of 3rd 8/2025) tomorrow i'll add a cool as fuck cursor and maybe change the background since i'm satisfied with the placement of my lovely portrait. if you've been staring at it for a while i'll clear up that no, you don't need to clean your glasses, it just looks like that. i'll try to be stingy with image quality and layout both to keep under the free website size limit (as if one gb isnt half of an ipod nano... plenty if you think about it) and to allow it to run on low end devices such as, say, a 2007 nokia. what, you thought my phone couldn't connect to the internet? you bet i did that shit
